Парламент Евросоюза одобрил отсрочку даты выхода Великобритании из ЕС до 31 октября, что усилило неопределенность на рынке и негативно отразилось на курсе евро и фунта стерлингов.

«Жесткий» сценарий Brexit по-прежнему остается на повестке дня. При том появилась перспектива хаотической избирательной кампании на выборах в Европарламент, поскольку Великобритания будет автоматически исключена из ЕС уже 1 июня, если не примет участия в выборах.

Неопределенность по поводу условий и сроков выхода Соединенного Королевства из состава ЕС привела к ухудшению деловых и потребительских настроений в регионе.

По состоянию на 15:40 МСК евро подешевел относительно доллара США на 0,15%, до $1,1256, а британский фунт – на 0,17%, до $1,3066.

Американский доллар показал очень сдержанный рост, поскольку сам оказался под давлением после публикации протокола прошлого заседания Федрезерва, в котором участники рынка обнаружили сигналы к смягчению монетарной политики.
