The figures for the employment rate of the German country improved compared with the result last year based on the report of Federal Jobs Agency. Regardless of the various uncertainties, the labor market still managed to establish a strong stance. An intense debate occurred three years ago regarding Germany’s enforcement of a minimum wage. The conservative free-market economists reacted and laid down the most probable consequences and for the possible damage it could bring towards millions of low -paying jobs, as companies would primarily consider many essential factors before approving any salary increase. However, this presumption did not happen since two years ago, a minimum wage was put into action last January 2015. Moreover, the employment rate of the country had increased continually and indefinite job contracts also rose significantly. On Tuesday morning, an announcement came in from the federal employment agency stating that there were only 2.568 million individuals considered unemployed compared with the same period in 2015 and the data for December 2016 is said to be 104,000 lesser. The average jobless rate for 2016 dropped to 6.1 percent, the lowest decline for more than two decades.
