The U.S. Vice President Mike Pence has arrived in Tokyo Japan to meet with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to confer about the security concerns with the rising concerns with North Korea. At the same time, trading U.S. goods will also talk about to open more opportunities and engage more infrastructure investments. Although this has already been discussed when U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross met Japan's trade minister, Hiroshige Seko. This trip is focused on enhancing U.S. trade ties with Japan despite the Trump administration broke off the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade pact in 12 countries. Trump pledged to renegotiate the current two-way Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and concentrate on bilateral deals but Japan fears that this would open politically sensitive topics.
