NextDecade podepsala s Bechtelem smlouvy v hodnotě 9 miliard dolarů na výstavbu zařízení na zkapalňování zemního plynu

Americký producent zkapalněného zemního plynu NextDecade (NASDAQ:NEXT) ve čtvrtek oznámil, že jeho jednotky uzavřely smlouvy se společností Bechtel Energy na výstavbu čtvrtého a pátého vlaku v zařízení Rio Grande LNG v celkové hodnotě přibližně 9 miliard dolarů.

V rámci smluv o inženýrství, dodávkách a výstavbě (EPC) se společnost NextDecade zavázala zaplatit společnosti Bechtel přibližně 4,77 miliardy dolarů na základě obnovené smlouvy na čtvrtý zkapalňovací vlak.

Na pátý vlak uzavřela EPC smlouvu v hodnotě přibližně 4,32 miliardy dolarů.

Společnost očekává, že platnost cen v rámci smluv na vlaky 4 a 5 bude prodloužena do 15. září 2025, a jejím cílem je dosáhnout kladného konečného investičního rozhodnutí (FID) ohledně vlaku 4 před koncem platnosti cen v rámci EPC smlouvy.

Developeři LNG obvykle dosahují FID u projektů, jakmile si zajistí dostatek dodávek k získání nezbytného financování pro výstavbu.

Na konci května podepsala společnost 20letou smlouvu na dodávku 2 milionů tun LNG ročně japonské energetické společnosti JERA z pátého zkapalňovacího zařízení v rámci projektu Rio Grande.
