SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Společnost SmartRent, Inc. (NYSE: SMRT) vykázala neuspokojivé výsledky za čtvrté čtvrtletí, které zaostaly za odhady analytiků, a její akcie tak v předobchodní fázi středečního obchodování klesly o 4,7 %.

Společnost zabývající se technologiemi pro chytré domácnosti vykázala za 4. čtvrtletí čistou ztrátu ve výši 0,06 USD na akcii, což je horší výsledek, než očekávali analytici, kteří počítali se ztrátou 0,02 USD. Tržby dosáhly 35,4 milionu USD, což je výrazně pod konsensuálním odhadem 47,24 milionu USD a meziročně o 41 % méně.

Celkové tržby za celý rok 2024 se snížily o 26 % na 174,9 milionu USD. Tržby ze SaaS však ve 4. čtvrtletí vzrostly o 17 % na 13,6 milionu USD a za celý rok se zvýšily o 26 % na 51,6 milionu USD.

„Výsledky za toto čtvrtletí odrážejí náročný, ale nezbytný přechod, kdy přecházíme na udržitelnější obchodní model,“ uvedl finanční ředitel Daryl Stemm. Poznamenal, že i když celkové výsledky nesplnily očekávání, společnost dokončila klíčové změny ve vedení a rozšířila nabídku softwaru.
