Аналитики американской финансовой компании JPMorgan Chase понизили прогноз курса евро относительно доллара США на конец 2018 года с $1,2 до $1,12. Эксперты отметили, что текущий год можно считать «потерянным» для единой европейской валюты, а восстановления не стоит ожидать раньше 2019 года.

Эксперты отметили, что кризис, охвативший страны развивающейся экономики, оказал сильное негативное воздействие на евро, поскольку экономика европейского региона была уязвима и не смогла восстановиться после ослабления в первом квартале. Кроме того, инвесторы обеспокоены по поводу предстоящих бюджетных переговоров в Италии.

Аналитики JPMorgan полагают, что дальнейшее ухудшение ситуации в странах развивающийся экономики вызовет увеличения спроса на американскую валюту, а евро рискует протестировать уровень $1,10. Однако в большей степени эксперты ожидают восстановления курса евро в следующем году, при этом прогноз курса европейской валюты на 2019 год также был понижен с $1,23 до $1,19.
