Дональд Трамп в интервью Fox Business News заявил, что наибольшая угроза для успеха его действий на посту президента США исходит от Федеральной резервной системы (ФРС), которая проводит жесткую кредитно-денежную политику.

Трамп решительно недоволен тем, что ФРС в третий раз за год повысила ставки, а он никак не может повлиять на решения чиновников. Он полагает, что высокие ставки негативно отразится на покупательской способности американских граждан.

26 сентября ФРС США повысила ставку до 2-2,25% годовых и намерена в дальнейшем ужесточать монетарную политику. Чиновники полагают, что сильный рынок труда на фоне умеренной инфляции позволяет придерживаться «ястребиного» курса. Большинство экспертов ожидают следующего увеличения ставок на заседании в декабре.
