Золото дешевеет накануне выступления главы ФРС Джерома Пауэлла перед Конгрессом США

Во вторник, 26 февраля, по состоянию на 17:00 мск цена апрельских фьючерсов на золото на Нью-Йоркской товарной биржи снизилась на 0,12%, до $1.327,85 за тройскую унцию.

Сегодня Дж. Пауэлл представит отчет по монетарной политике и сделает обзор ситуации в экономике США в банковском комитете Сената.

Большинство аналитиков прогнозируют, что глава американского регулятора поддержит возможность приостановки сокращения баланса (количественное ужесточение).

Ранее ФРС США уже отказалась от прогнозов, которые представители регулятора делали в конце 2018 года, а также пересмотрели обещание дважды повысить значение процентной ставки в 2019 году.
