Despite the circumstances, the European Union remains a key trading partner of the United Kingdom. After the «divorce», British companies faced additional administrative barriers and complicated procedures for cross-border interaction. Negotiations with the EU are gaining additional importance against the background of the upcoming presidency of Donald Trump in the United States and threats of tariff wars that could negatively affect trade.
