Глава МВФ провела несколько встреч с представителями новой администрации Белого дома, обсудив вопросы экономической и финансовой политики. Кристин Лагард оценила их как очень обнадеживающие и успокаивающие.


Ранее Стивен Мнучин, министр финансов США, провел телефонные переговоры с главой МВФ, которая позже поделилась, что министр выразил желание работать с фондом по многим направлениям.
