Senát USA schválil návrh zákona na odvrácení shutdownu, demokraté ze Sněmovny reprezentantů se obrátili proti Schumerovi

Washington (ČTK) – Americký Senát v pátek schválil návrh zákona o dočasných výdajích, který odvrátil částečné uzavření vlády, poté, co demokraté ustoupili ve sporu vyvolaném hněvem kvůli kampani prezidenta Donalda Trumpa na snížení počtu federálních zaměstnanců.

Po několikadenní vášnivé debatě prolomil ve čtvrtek večer zablokovanou situaci hlavní demokrat Senátu Chuck Schumer, který prohlásil, že bude hlasovat pro to, aby se návrh zákona posunul dál. Schumer uvedl, že se mu návrh zákona nelíbí, ale domnívá se, že vyvolání shutdownu by bylo horším výsledkem, protože Trump a jeho poradce Elon Musk rychle postupují při snižování výdajů.
