Производители нефти в США сокращают добычу из-за падения котировок

За прошлую неделю (с 28 января по 1 февраля) энергетические компании США уменьшили число активных буровых установок на 15 штук, до 847 скважин – минимума за последние восемь месяцев.

По всей видимости, нефтепроизводители сокращают расходы из-за прогнозов о снижении цен на нефть в текущем году по сравнению с 2018 годом.

Сегодня по состоянию на 18:47 мск цена на фьючерс нефти марки WTI снизилась на 1,86%, до $54,23 за баррель.

Число буровых нефтяных установок позволяет заранее оценить объем будущей добычи нефти. На текущий момент в США работают 847 установок, что значительно больше, чем годом ранее (765), поскольку энергетические компании, воспользовавшись ростом нефтяных котировок, рекордно нарастили производство «черного золота».
