Согласно прогнозу Управления бюджетной ответственности Великобритании, страна столкнется с серьезным экономическим кризисом в 2020 году в случае Brexit без торгового соглашения.

Управление дало свою первую оценку влияния Brexit без сделки на британскую экономику. Рецессия может наступить уже в 2020 году, ВВП может сократиться на 3% в следующем году.

Напомним, выход Британии из состава ЕС был запланирован на 29 марта 2019 года. Однако дата этого события переносилась дважды – премьер-министр страны Тереза Мэй в течение нескольких месяцев безуспешно пыталась провести через парламент согласованное с Брюсселем соглашение о Brexit. Теперь же Brexit должен состояться до 31 октября 2019 года.
