Startupový akcelerátor Y Combinator – známý podporou společností Airbnb, Dropbox a Stripe – tento týden uspořádal v San Francisku svůj každoroční demo den, kde zakladatelé představili své startupy auditoriu potenciálních investorů rizikového kapitálu.
Generální ředitel Y Combinatoru Garry Tan řekl televizi CNBC, že tato skupina roste výrazně rychleji než předchozí kohorty a se skutečnými příjmy. Za posledních devět měsíců podle něj celá skupina společností YC v součtu rostla o 10 % týdně.
„Nejde jen o společnosti číslo jedna nebo dvě – celá skupina roste týden co týden o 10 %,“ řekl Tan, který je rovněž absolventem Y Combinatoru. „To se v rané fázi podnikání ještě nikdy nestalo.“
