The wholesale prices in Japan increased by 2.5 percent year-on-year in the previous month, according to the Bank of Japan published on Tuesday. There is an increase in the corporate goods price index (CGPI) that gauges the pricing on goods and services between companies. Meanwhile, the median market forecast is 2.6 percent which has slightly risen to 2.7 percent annual increase in January. As a whole, the prices of final products to business rose to 0.3 percent compared last year. On the other hand, pricing of final goods for domestic use increased to 0.9 percent than a year earlier, which loosely follows the consumer price index.
