The German Automobile Association VDA has called for the speedy implementation of the trade agreement between the EU and the United States, which is especially important for the stabilization of the situation in the automotive industry. Hildegard Muller, who heads the VDA, noted in her press release that the current tariffs of 27.5% continue to put significant pressure on German car manufacturers and suppliers of automotive components. This barrier also seriously hinders trade relations between Europe and America. Mueller stressed the need for the active participation of the German government and the European Commission in negotiations with Washington aimed at eliminating these tariffs, which remain a significant obstacle for the industry. It is expected that the EU will have to wait a little longer for the decision of Donald Trump related to this trade agreement.
