The main US stock indexes are noticeably declining on Thursday amid a reduction in investor appetite for risky assets. In particular, the Dow Jones Industrial Index (DJIA) decreased by 0.72% to 31.283.51 points, the NASDAQ index of high–tech companies - by 1.41% to 11.565.94 points, the S&P 500 broad market index – by 0.76% to 3.914.64 points. Traders continue to refrain from buying risky assets amid existing concerns about the prospects for the global economy. Tomorrow we should pay attention to an important report on the labor market in the USA Non-Farm Payrolls, which will be able to influence the further dynamics of the market. Analysts believe that unemployment in the country remained at the July level of 3.5%, and the number of people employed in non-agricultural sectors of the economy increased by 300 thousand. It is worth noting that the report again carries risks for stocks, because if it is good, it will increase the prospects for further rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve.
