At the December meeting last year, the rate was reduced by 25 bps. In January, US President Donald Trump announced the need for an immediate reduction in interest rates. In February, the consumer price index rose by 2.8% year-on-year and by 0.2% compared to January, when the annual rate was 3%. Experts predict an acceleration of inflation due to the current import duties, which may have an impact on the country's economy.
