For the first time, the BRICS countries have agreed on a single Action Plan for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises for 2025-2030. This decision was made against the background of the tariff policy of the Donald Trump administration. Brazil's Minister of Entrepreneurship, Marcio Franca, noted that the initiative launched by Russia and continued by Brazil has taken on an institutional form. The creation of the group within the framework of the partnership was a significant step for the exchange of experience in the global economy. At the meeting of the Ministers of Industry and energy in Brasilia, a declaration of support for free trade was adopted, which condemns trade restrictions and tariff increases. According to participants, such measures could weaken global trade, disrupt supply chains and increase uncertainty in the global economy. The draft «BRICS Economic Partnership Strategy until 2030» was also discussed. It is planned to be approved by the leaders of the countries at the summit, which will be held on July 6-7 in Rio de Janeiro.
