The Ethereum exchange rate, the second most capitalized cryptocurrency after bitcoin, reached the level of $4770 today, updating another maximum. Over the past three months, the digital currency has risen in price by 54%, and since the beginning of the year, the asset rate has increased by 538%. The broadcast has been breaking records since the end of October, after Finder.com published the results of a survey of industry experts expecting a jump in the cryptocurrency exchange rate to $5,100 by the end of this year and growth above $50,000 by 2030. Additional support for the cryptocurrency is provided by the assumptions of some reputable experts that Ethereum can bypass bitcoin by capitalization by mid-2022 thanks to the development of the decentralized financing market (DeFi). Currently, the capitalization of ether is just over $ 558 billion, and bitcoin is $1.24 trillion.
