NEW YORK (Reuters) – S více než polovinou výsledků za druhé čtvrtletí a akciemi blízko rekordních maxim uklidnily výsledky společností investory ohledně obchodu s umělou inteligencí, který oživil Wall Street, i když obavy z cel omezily nákupy.

Podle údajů LSEG, které zahrnují výsledky 297 společností z indexu S&P 500 k čtvrtečnímu dni, se meziroční růst zisků za druhé čtvrtletí odhaduje na 9,8 %, což je nárůst oproti odhadovanému růstu 5,8 % k 1. červenci.

Příští týden se investoři dočkají výsledků společností Disney (NYSE:DIS), McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) a Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT), které jsou součástí indexu Dow Jones Industrial Average, a budou tak moci nahlédnout do širší ekonomiky. Silné výsledky těchto společností by mohly posunout index Dow, který se obchoduje těsně pod svým prosincovým rekordním maximem, na novou úroveň.

Zhruba 81 % společností překonalo očekávání analytiků ohledně zisků, což je nad průměrem 76 % za poslední čtyři čtvrtletí.
