Китай и Япония выступили за сохранение принципов свободной торговли

Министры иностранных дел Японии и КНР Таро Коно и Ван И выступили в защиту принципов экономической глобализации и свободной торговли в ходе проведенной 15 апреля встречи в Токио.

МИД Китая заявил, что необходимо развивать сотрудничество между Китаем, Японией и Южной Кореей, с тем чтобы стимулировать экономический рост в восточноазиатском регионе. Кроме того, по мнению китайской стороны, следует отстаивать принципы глобализации и системы международной свободной торговли, чтобы сообща создавать единое будущее. 

МИД Японии также выступил в поддержку международной системы свободной торговли и ВТО, чтобы поддержать рост мировой экономики и способствовать развитию отношений между странами Восточной Азии.

Япония и Китай обозначили свою позицию на фоне разразившегося торгового противостояния между США и Китаем и из-за введенных американскими властями пошлин на импорт, которые Пекин считает протекционизмом и нарушением принципов ВТО.
