Евросоюз и США подписали совместную декларацию о сотрудничестве в энергетической сфере, подтвердив договоренности, достигнутые ранее президентом США Дональдом Трампом и главой Еврокомиссии Урсулой фон дер Ляйен.

Согласно документу, опубликованному 21 августа, ЕС намерен закупить у США энергоресурсы на сумму $750 млрд до 2028 года.

В декларации подчеркивается, что стороны будут работать над обеспечением «безопасных, надежных и диверсифицированных поставок энергоносителей», в том числе за счет снятия нетарифных барьеров, ограничивающих торговлю. В закупки войдут СПГ, нефть и продукция атомной энергетики.

Ранее Еврокомиссия отмечала, что в сумму $750 млрд также включаются поставки ядерных реакторов и инвестиции в атомный сектор, а объем импорта будет зависеть от потребностей европейского энергорынка.
