Согласно расчетам экспертов Организации объединенных наций (ООН), прямые иностранные инвестиции в Китай в 2020 году составили $163 млрд, а в США – $134 млрд. В результате этого Китай стал главным «инвестнаправлением» мира, обойдя США, впервые в истории. 


По итогам прошлого года, существенно пострадавшего от пандемии коронавируса, общий объем прямых иностранных инвестиций (вложений в предприятия любой отрасли экономики за пределами страны инвестора) сократился на 42%. 


И если в 2019 году эти вложения составляли $1,489 трлн, то в 2020 – всего $859 млрд, говорится в отчете  Конференции ООН по торговле и развитию (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD).
