Кувейт намерен увеличить сокращение добычи нефти

После того как Саудовская Аравия выразила готовность к дальнейшему сокращению объемов добычи нефти, призывая к этому и других участников сделки ОПЕК, Кувейт вместе с Объединенными Арабскими Эмиратами также приняли решение присоединиться к сокращению производства «черного золота». Уже на протяжении долгого времени многие мировые производители нефти стремятся уменьшить добычу углеводорода в целях достижения баланса цен на мировом рынке сырья. 

Kuwait Petroleum Corp. сократит контрактные объемы продаваемой нефти, запланированные на 2017 год. Это было сделано после заявления министра энергетики ОАЭ о намерении снизить поставки нефти в Мурбане, Дасе и Верхнем Закуме на 10%, начиная только с осени текущего года. 

За этим объявлением последовала критика стран-участниц Венского соглашения, не выполнивших свои обязательства, со стороны министра энергетики и промышленности Саудовской Аравии. По данным МЭА (Международного энергетического агентства), Кувейт максимально приблизился к выполнению поставленной цели сокращения добычи, уменьшив ее на 131 тыс. баррелей в сутки (98%). Арабские Эмираты же реализовали соглашение лишь на 54% от планируемого сокращения на 139 тысяч баррелей.
