During the G7 summit, the leaders of the member-countries agreed to cut off Russia from participation in world markets and reduce its export revenues, including from gold. The G7 also intends to continue to fight the evasion of anti-Russian sanctions. The states participating in the summit intend to explore new ways that will isolate Moscow from participation in world markets, as well as restrict Russia's access to key technologies and services (especially those related to the defense industry). The G7 will also continue to take steps to reduce its dependence on Russian energy resources. In addition, the Great Seven is exploring options for providing assistance to Ukraine, including using frozen Russian assets. Here, one of the measures may be the redirection to Kiev of funds received from duties on Russian goods. The budget support already provided to Kiev by the G7 countries has reached $29.5 billion. Additional financial assistance to Ukrainian enterprises through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the World Bank structures will amount to $3.5 billion.
