Společnost PureHealth Holding PJSC se sídlem v Abú Zabí získá od CVC Capital Partners (WA:CPAP) většinový podíl v řeckém nemocničním řetězci Hellenic Healthcare Group. Tento krok je součástí širšího úsilí emirátu o diverzifikaci ekonomiky a rozšíření přítomnosti v odvětví zdravotní péče.
Hodnota transakce činí přibližně 2,3 miliardy dolarů. PureHealth, kterou ovládá státní investiční fond ADQ, získá ve zdravotnické skupině 60% podíl. Společnost CVC Capital Partners si ponechá 35% podíl ve firmě a zbývající akcie bude vlastnit zakladatel společnosti, uvádí se v pondělním prohlášení společnosti PureHealth.
Tato akvizice představuje pro společnost PureHealth další významný mezinárodní podnik. V roce 2023 se firma dohodla na koupi britské společnosti Circle Health Group a menšinového podílu v americké společnosti Ardent Health Services. Společnost PureHealth s tržní hodnotou přibližně 11 miliard dolarů provozuje více než 100 nemocnic a více než 300 klinik a zaměstnává přes 56 000 lidí.
