British Prime Minister Liz Truss said that there are no plans to conclude a trade agreement between Britain and the United States in the coming years. According to the politician, her priority today is cooperation with international allies to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. Truss plans to raise this topic at the UN General Assembly in the coming days. In addition, the Prime Minister plans to develop cooperation with the countries of the East, in particular with India. A similar policy was followed by the previous Prime Minister of the country: back in June, Boris Johnson promised to conclude a trade agreement with India by the end of the year. The list of countries for cooperation also includes the Gulf States: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. In addition, the UK intends to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which unites 11 countries, including Australia, Canada and Japan. Today, this alliance is one of the largest trading blocs in the world.
