Китайский Alibaba станет спонсором 6 игр до 2028 года

Alibaba Group, китайский гигант интернет-торговли, заключил партнерское соглашение с Международным комитетом Олимпийских игр о спонсорстве шести предстоящих Олимпийских игр, которые состоятся в течении следующих 11 лет, до 2028 года. Сумма сделки, заключенной в рамках экономического форума в Давосе, составит порядка 100 миллионов долларов США. Таким образом, Alibaba станет официальным партнером Олимпиады в сфере интернет-коммерции и пополнит число основных спонсоров Олимпийских игр, среди которых можно выделить Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Visa и другие крупные концерны. 

Китайский ритейлер предоставит организаторам игр техническое оборудование. Помимо этого, в обязанности нового спонсора будет входить адаптация Олимпийского канала в интернете для азиатской аудитории. Соглашение вступит в силу уже на предстоящей зимней Олимпиаде 2018 года, которая пройдет в корейском городе Пхёнч.
