Цена акций Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) достигла исторического максимума в $218,62 на фоне публикации квартального финансового отчета.

Чистая прибыль Facebook Inc. в период с апреля по июнь составила $5,106 млрд, что на 31% больше, чем во втором квартале прошлого года.

Выручка компании достигла $13,231 млрд, увеличившись на 42% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года. При этом аналитики прогнозировали рост показателя до $13,3 млрд.

За подъемом стоимости акций Facebook до рекордной отметки последовало их падение на 23% в связи с заявлениями руководства компании о замедлении темпов роста. Так, рост выручки во втором квартале оказался на 7% меньше, чем в предыдущем. Ожидается, что данная тенденция сохранится во втором полугодии.
