Компания SpaceX инвестирует $2 млрд в искусственный интеллект-стартап xAI, принадлежащий Илону Маску. Эта сумма станет частью ранее объявленного раунда финансирования xAI на $5 млрд.


Маск активно интегрирует свои бизнесы для поддержки нового проекта, который позиционируется как конкурент OpenAI. В марте xAI был объединен с соцсетью X, что расширило доступ чат-бота Grok к широкой аудитории. По оценке экспертов, объединенная структура стоит около $113 млрд.


Маск также заявил, что акционерам Tesla может быть предложено проголосовать по вопросу о возможных инвестициях компании в xAI, подчеркнув при этом, что не поддерживает идею их слияния. В ответ на вопрос пользователя в соцсети X о том, поддерживают ли это акционеры Tesla, Маск  кратко ответил: «Нет».


На премаркете в понедельник акции Tesla растут на 1,2%, однако с начала года они потеряли 22,4%.
