Президент России В. Путин заявил в ходе своего выступления на инвестиционном форуме «ВТБ Капитала», что замедление инфляции в стране идет опережающими прогнозы темпами. В результате в начале 2020 года годовая инфляция может замедлиться до 3% и уйти даже ниже этого показателя, что несет определенные риски для совокупного спроса и оживления экономики. Текущий рост потребительских цен зафиксирован на уровне 3,6%.

Российский президент также отметил, что Кремль намерен строго контролировать ситуацию со снижением инфляции, постоянно контактируя с правительством и Банком России.
