Frankfurt nad Mohanem (Reuters) – Vyšší evropské obranné rozpočty a zvýšení výroby vojenského vybavení jsou nezbytné pro zajištění bezpečnosti Evropy, uvedl generální tajemník NATO Mark Rutte v rozhovoru pro německé noviny.

„Budeme muset vynaložit více prostředků, abychom se udrželi v bezpečí,“ řekl Rutte německému nedělníku Welt am Sonntag (WamS).

„Musíme však také rychle zvýšit naši obrannou výrobu na obou stranách Atlantiku… příliš dlouho jsme vyráběli příliš málo.“

Severoatlantická aliance zahrnuje velkou část Evropy a také Spojené státy a Kanadu.
