Generální ředitel společnosti Nvidia uspořádá 16. července tiskovou konferenci v Pekingu

PEKING (Reuters) – Generální ředitel společnosti Nvidia Jensen Huang uspořádá 16. července tiskovou konferenci v Pekingu, oznámil v neděli představitel společnosti. Bude to jeho druhá návštěva Číny po dubnové cestě, během níž zdůraznil význam čínského trhu.

Od roku 2022 uvalila americká vláda omezení na vývoz nejmodernějších čipů společnosti Nvidia do Číny s odůvodněním obav z možného vojenského využití.

USA také na začátku tohoto roku zakázaly prodej čipů H20 pro umělou inteligenci společnosti Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) do této země – jednalo se o nejvýkonnější čipy pro umělou inteligenci společnosti Nvidia, které byly schváleny pro prodej v Číně.

Huangova poslední návštěva byla pozorně sledována jak v USA, tak v Číně. Dvojice senátorů z obou politických stran zaslala v pátek Huangovi dopis ohledně jeho cesty do Číny, v němž ho požádali, aby se zdržel setkání se společnostmi, které spolupracují s vojenskými nebo zpravodajskými orgány Čínské lidové republiky.
