Air Berlin прекращает работу из-за банкротства

Вторая по величине немецкая авиакомпания Air Berlin PLC & Co. Luftverkehrs KG отменяет все свои рейсы после 28 октября в связи с объявленной ранее процедурой банкротства. При этом рейсы дочерних компаний Niki и LG Walter будут осуществляться согласно расписанию.

Томас Винкельман, исполнительный директор Air Berlin, объявил, что 12 октября завершаются переговоры о продаже компании крупнейшему немецкому авиаперевозчику Lufthansa и британской лоу-кост-авиакомпании EasyJet. Винкельман подчеркивает, что после продажи компании все сотрудники Air Berlin получат новое рабочее место.

СМИ сообщают, что Air Berlin может быть продана за 250-350 млн евро. Таким образом будет покрыта задолженность размером 150 млн евро.
