Трамп обвалил песо до исторического минимума

Мексиканская валюта, песо, в ожидании инаугурации Дональда Трампа упала до исторического минимума. Курс песо снижается с каждым днем. Одна единица американской валюты теперь равняется 21,85 песо. Эксперты утверждают, согласно индексу Биг Мака, что мексиканская валюта недооценена почти на 56% по отношению к американскому доллару. 

Ранее песо упал до рекордных минимумов после заявления Трампа о намерении построить стену на границе с Мексикой в целях борьбы с нелегальной эмиграцией и притоком наркотиков. Строительство этого сооружения планируется начать сразу после инаугурации. 

Еще одной причиной резкого ослабления песо стало отрицательное отношение нового президента США к соглашению о североамериканской зоне свободной торговли NAFTA, объединяющей 3 страны: США, Канаду и Мексику. Более того, Трамп намерен ввести большие пограничные пошлины на экспортные товары из Мексики, сконцентрировать большинство производственных предприятий в пределах Соединенных Штатов, а также сократить число работающих в США уроженцев Мексики.
