Финансовый директор американского производителя электрокаров Tesla Дипак Ахуджа оставит свой пост в 2019 году на фоне неудовлетворительных финансовых результатов.

В прошлом году году Tesla получила убыток в размере $976 млн, однако по сравнению с предыдущим годом он сократился более чем в два раза, в 2017 году показатель составлял $1,9 млрд.

Глава компании Илон Маск называл 2018 год худшим в своей карьере, в течение которого он постарел на пять лет.

При этом предприятие достигло рекордной выручки – $21,4 млрд, в четвертом квартале она составила $7,2 млрд. Два последних квартала для компании были успешными, в третьем квартале чистая прибыль производителя электрокаров достигла $311,5 млн, в четвертом – $139,4 млн.

Ранее, 18 января, Маск заявил, что предприятие сократит 7% сотрудников (3400 человек), чтобы снизить издержки для увеличения объемов производства электромобилей Tesla Model 3.
