Президент США Дональд Трамп заявил, что Федеральная резервная система должна сильнее снижать процентные ставки, чтобы не проиграть в борьбе Китаю и Евросоюзу.

Трамп усиливает давление на чиновников Центробанка накануне очередного двухдневного заседания, на котором ожидается снижение базовой ставки на четверть процентного пункта.

По мнению американского президента, ФРС США действует слишком осторожно по сравнению с Центробанками ЕС и КНР, которые вливают деньги в свои системы, чтобы местным производителям было легче вести торговлю.

Трамп неоднократно заявлял, что экономика США находится в хорошем состоянии, а текущий уровень инфляции позволяет Центробанку проводить более мягкую монетарную политику, тогда как нынешний курс сдерживает экономический рост.
