Соглашение ОПЕК+ под угрозой из-за Мексики

Ситуация на нефтяном рынке остается напряженной после вчерашнего дистанционного саммита ОПЕК и ее союзников. Ожидалось, что эта экстренная встреча приведет к соглашению между членами ОПЕК+ о сокращении добычи нефти на 10-15 миллионов баррелей в сутки.

Они договорились о нижней части этого диапазона – 10 млн баррелей, но Мексика отказалась подчиниться. Теперь Саудовская Аравия и Россия ждут ответа строптивого латиноамериканского государства. Как сообщается, Соединенные Штаты также поддерживают это соглашение и попытаются оказать давление на Мексику. Но если Мексика откажется, соглашение вообще может быть не ратифицировано.

Более того, поскольку негативное влияние пандемии коронавируса продолжает снижать спрос на нефть, эксперты предполагают, что даже более амбициозное сокращение добычи на 15 миллионов баррелей в сутки не спасет рынок от нынешнего кризиса избыточного предложения. Цены на нефть сейчас торгуются на 50% ниже, чем до начала пандемии.
