Филип Хаммонд, глава министерства финансов Великобритании, рассказал, что 1£ млрд от налога на содержание сахара в напитках направят на развитие школ. 

Министр отметил, что «сахарный» налог будет сохранен в ближайшее время. Введение налога привело к снижению количества сахара в напитках, что должно благоприятно отразиться на здоровье детей.

Вчера в британском парламенте Хаммонд представил проект первого после Brexit бюджета Великобритании. Несмотря на ожидания аналитиков, экономика Соединенного Королевства демонстрирует уверенный рост.
